I am a Registered Play Therapist and provide play-based interventions for children ages 3 to 13. I have a therapeutic playroom to support and engage children and tweens experiencing behavioral and emotional challenges, including anxiety and depression, peer and family issues, and grief/loss.
I am trained in FirstPlay®, a play-based infant attachment model, which combines simple storytelling with playful infant massage techniques. In FirstPlay® sessions I will teach you the Baby Tree Hug Massage© story, a playful touch-based story which is included in your FirstPlay® Parent Handbook that is included with your sessions.
Sometimes parents of children who are experiencing anxiety need a professional to listen and provide support. I can help you in your parenting journey by providing concrete suggestions you can implement right away to help ease yours and your child's stress related to anxiety.
